How to Make Your AI Agent EU AI Act Compliant Before August 2026
On August 2, 2026, the EU AI Act's transparency and high-risk obligations enter full enforcement. If you deploy AI agents that interact with people in the EU — or process data from EU residents — you have roughly four months to get compliant. The fines are not symbolic: up to EUR 35 million or 7% of global annual turnover for prohibited practices, EUR 15 million or 3% for transparency violations under Article 50, and EUR 7.5 million or 1% for providing incorrect information to regulators.
